Company Director and Physiotherapist

Matt Taylor spent many years as the senior physiotherapist for London Irish Rugby Club, he also has international rugby experience having worked as the principle physiotherapist to the Samoan Rugby Union for the Rugby World Cup 2011. Matt is a HPC registered chartered physiotherapist qualifying with a BSc (Hons) from the University of East Anglia in 2004.

Matt started his physio career in the NHS, but due to a desire to specialise in sports specific physiotherapy and travel, he embarked on a career move to New Zealand for 5 years, where he worked and managed busy private practice clinics and more specifically worked with an array of NZ elite teams including National League Basketball, Super Rugby, Sevens Rugby, NZ Swimming, Provincial, National and International teams.

Matt is passionate about getting you back to where you want to be, whether your focus is returning to work, sport or activity following surgery or injury, he will guide you completely.

Matt is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM)

Alan O'Keeffe has spent many years working in the private physiotherapy sector ranging from orthopaedic hospitals to sports specific physiotherapy practices. In addition to his private practice career he has worked in a number of elite sporting environments over the years, treating a wide range of professional athletes from Rugby, Tennis, Golf, GAA and Team GB to name a few.

The knowledge and experience gained from working with several professional athletes has only increased his desire and passion to improve the private practice journey for his patients. Alan aims to create a seamless treatment pathway for returning his patients to their sporting activities or normal daily lives following an injury or post-surgery recovery.

Alan specialises in a wide range of treatments for both upper and lower limb injuries. In recent times, he has become specifically interested in the combination of shockwave therapy and the most modern rehabilitation techniques to enhance successful patient outcomes.

Alan qualified initially with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and is a HCPC registered chartered physiotherapist qualifying with an MSc.

Physiotherapist

Steve Bosworth has been working in the private physiotherapy sector for many years, mostly within sports specific physiotherapy practices. He has worked with a range of amateur and elite level athletes across various sports including RFU England Students, London Irish ARFC, New Zealand Silver Ferns Netball and Olympic runners from numerous countries.

Following on from a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from Loughborough University, Steve qualified with a PG Dip in Sports Rehabilitation from Middlesex University shortly followed by an MSc in Physiotherapy from St Marys University Twickenham. He is HCPC registered and a member of the CSP. He holds additional qualifications in Medical Acupuncture, Shockwave Therapy and Strength & Conditioning.

Steve has a passion for treating the underlying cause of injury through correction of muscle imbalance and biomechanical overload, resulting in a holistic approach to reduce the likelihood of injury recurrence. His key interests include:

Physiotherapist

Matthew Reynolds has been working as a Physiotherapist in the private, NHS and sporting sectors for many years. His sporting experiences cover a variety of fields, including amateur and elite athletes at the World Athletics Championships, London Irish ARFC, Abingdon United FC, cycling and long distance running. He continues to work as a Senior and Specialist Physiotherapist within the NHS, specialising in orthopaedic triage and clinical pathway management.

Matthew graduate from Oxford Brookes University with First Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and is currently studying a MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy at Hertfordshire University. He is HCPC, CSP and ACPSEM registered, and holds additional qualifications in Sports Massage, Strapping and Taping.

Matthew has a passion for identifying the root cause of an individual’s symptoms and focuses his treatment on achieving long-term resolution and return to activity. As a positive communicator, he relishes supporting individuals through their care pathway.

Sports Massage Therapist

Elly Higginbottom qualified as a remedial massage therapist from one of Australia’s leading massage schools in 2013. Working in busy clinics and growing her own business across 4 years she then went on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing degree in 2017. She has since worked in many areas of nursing in both Australia and England and currently works as a chronic pain management specialist nurse in the NHS. She enjoys developing her skills and knowledge to enable patients to increase their quality of life while living alongside their pain condition.

She has a fun, caring and bubbly personality and will work with you to get the very best out of every treatment.

Elly loves treating people from all walks of life- from the everyday office worker to the hardcore gym junkies she is passionate about. She incorporates Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue massage and myofascial release into her treatments. Her aim is to get you functioning better and decrease tension and stress.

When she’s not working Elly enjoys playing netball, watching rugby, taking her dog out on adventures, or planning her next overseas trip.

Elly is insured by Simply Business and a member of the Nursing Midwifery Council and the Royal College of Nurses.
