We provide a highly specialist ultrasound guided injection service which seeks to provide rapid pain-relieving injections suitable for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

What to expect

All our injections are performed by our Sports Medicine Doctors under Guided Ultrasound allowing for accurate delivery to the precise area causing you your pain. This is completed alongside a thorough musculoskeletal assessment to make sure if an injection is suitable and safe for you. You will also be provided with a written report with a clear diagnosis and management plan to complement the injection treatment.

At The Complete Physio Clinic we specialise in returning you to full function. Following your surgery our aim is to firstly reassure you and explain exactly what has been undertaken during your surgery.

Having surgery can be quite a stressful and fear-inducing time. It can generate a fear of movement and you may worry that you are making things worse – we will guide you completely on how to get moving, return to function and most crucial of all gain the strength you need.

Sports and Exercise Medicine (SEM) Consultants are specialists, skilled in the delivery of Musculoskeletal Medicine. The specialty has a large-scale application in managing and improving the health of the general public through exercise advice and prescription -  Description from NHS England 2021 .

What They can do;

The Consultant SEM possesses excellent clinical history-taking and examination skills, enabling accurate diagnosis. They take a  holistic  approach to your care and understand the specific physical attributes required to return you to an injury free lifestyle.

SEM’s treat and are involved in a variety of conditions and injuries:

• Soft-tissue injuries of muscles and ligaments, including sprains (partial tears) and ruptures (complete tears)
• Stress fractures
• Tendinopathies
• Medical conditions related to the musculoskeletal system MSK disorders and conditions
• Osteoarthritis and other degenerative conditions
